Job Overview:

We are looking for a household assistant to support us on Bainbridge Island, WA. This role is approximately 25 hours per week and is in-person on Bainbridge Island. The ideal candidate will be very detail-oriented, be able to follow through with tasks assigned, and can work independently.

Core Responsiblities:

• Manage inventories of household supplies, including groceries, cleaning products, linens, and toiletries, ensuring an adequate stock at all times
• Errands including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, checking P.O Box, picking up prescriptions, etc.
• Household chores including laundry, dishes, tidying up, and cleaning
• Packing and unpacking for travel
• Dog care including walking 2 dogs, refilling dog food, wash dogs, and take them to boarding and other appointments as needed.
• Organizational projects around the house
• Vehicle management including taking in for car washs, maintenance, and other appointments as they arise.
• Other tasks as requested

Requirements and Skills:

• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record (You will have access to a vehicle for client errands)
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Experience in running and maintaining a household
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with utmost discretion and confidentiality.
• Driven by caring for others and helping them succeed

Value-add:

• We have two horses so it would be great if someone is willing to help in the barn at times. Experience caring for horses is not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
